Background of Organization: Sympathy International is a Non- Governmental Organization based in Cape Coast in the Central Region. Which focus on Health Issues, Women Empowerment and Education. Among the programs and projects we implement are Sexual Reproductive Health Education, HIV/AIDS Education, Malaria Education, Women Support Project (Sewing ) , Gari Project, Women Cassava Growers project , Computer Training Programs
Volunteer Program Outline:
ü Research into Problems in Child Nutrition Development and prevention of Childhood Obesity in Cape Coast , Central Region
ü Suggest Good Nutrition methods, to build a better Immune system for malnourish children our project for Children .
ü Writing of Grant letters to help support Children with poor nutrition.
Objectives:
I. Provide support and share knowledge with the community and the organization.
II. To assist the organization to write an evaluation report and guide lines, to enhance the subsequent out reach.
III. To find way to support malnourished children in our area.
Schedule: Monday through to Friday 10:00am - 1:00pm
- After lunch the rest of the day form 2pm-4pm is to be used on analysis and discussion of filled work and report writing.
So, that's the rough sketch of what I will be doing for three months. I plan on using my free time to visit orphanages, hospitals, and clinics to get a better picture of health care in a developing nation.
